DealBot Documentation
DealBot finds, compares, and scores second-hand deals across multiple marketplaces at once. Describe what you want in your own words, in any language. DealBot searches, filters out the junk, groups comparable listings, and tells you what's actually a good price.
How it works
- 1You describe what you want: product, budget, must-haves, dealbreakers, location. As precise or as casual as you like.
- 2DealBot searches every marketplace at once (currently eBay, Kijiji, and Facebook Marketplace, with more on the way).
- 3Listings are filtered against your requirements. Wrong models, accessories, parts, and irrelevant items are removed.
- 4Comparable listings are grouped together, so a 2018 base model is never compared against a 2021 fully-loaded one.
- 5Each listing gets a deal score based on its price relative to truly comparable items, with full market context: median price, range, and where each listing falls.
